The Sidney J. Levy Award
The Sidney J. Levy Award competition is held annually in honor of one of the intellectual pioneers of Consumer Culture Theory (CCT). The award is given to the best CCT dissertation article published in the preceding calendar year.
Post.doc positions
There will be two post doc (two years with possible extension to three) / assistant professor (three years) positions open in the area of CCT from around August or September 2011 at the Department of Marketing Management, University of Southern Denmark. The position will be for two years with the possibility of extension to three years.
Berlin Workshop
In March 2010 a group of CCT oriented consumer researchers and sociology of consumption researchers was assembled in Berlin for a two days workshop to discuss the concepts of consumption, consumer, culture and society.
